We sent the first and possibly only care package to Griffin today. It was both fun and frustrating shopping for him. First of all, the last well baby check we have is from October so we can only guess how big he is now. Second, boys stuff is limited. Not much selection. Not like shopping for baby girls. It was still fun though. As I've said before, I'm not much of a girly girl so clothes shopping for Griffin was pretty fun for me. It was so hard for me not to go overboard! I probably bought too much stuff but it'll be months before we meet him and we won't get to be with him his first Christmas. I think I did pretty good, all things considered. But the LARGE flat rate USPS box was stuffed FULL! Here's what was in it: 2 long sleeved onesies, fleece pants, 3 sleepers, 6 pair of socks, sock monster (see picture), rattle, bendy ball, little blankie, disposable camera, lotion, toy cell phone (with my voice recorded), photo album, teething rings, linking toys, and chocolates for the foster family. Here's a pic.
And here is a pic of the sock monster. This is probably my favorite thing because Kinley has a bigger version that she sleeps with. I hope the sock monster comes home with him.
Sorry the picture is wacky. It wouldn't rotate for me.
Now we just need to get some updated pictures and well baby check. That's all I'm asking for for Christmas. Pretty please, Santa?!
I love it & I hope your Christmas wish comes true!!! What did Kinley think of the care package?
ReplyDeleteLooks great April! I'm with you, girls is endless shopping, but boys, more direct, and not as many choices! Love the gifts though, hopefully this'll bring those pictures!! :)
