This last weekend was super fun and jam packed full of activities. It started at Storybook Forest on Friday night. We invited our friends and Kinley's BFF, Gavin, to join us and the kids had SO MUCH FUN! This was our first trip to Storybook Forest, and we will definitely be going back next year. It's basically a storybook trail through the forest near a local lake. Each candy stop is a favorite fairytale. Very cute and the kids figured out the whole candy thing pretty quick. My battery died so I don't have many storybook pics.
We also took the very big step and purchased a 'big girl' bed for Kinley. I felt like she was ready for that but also knew it could be a complete disaster. As always, she has done amazing! She loves her bed and thinks she's pretty big. I cried when Blake started taking apart the crib.
AND we received a notice from the Department of Homeland Security with our fingerprint appointment date and time. Everything seems to be moving quickly on the adoption home front. I pray it continues that way.
